Ayo Oritsejafor Gets $40 million Private Jet As Birthday Gift


The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and founder of Word of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Saturday, November 10th received a private jet as a birthday gift from members of his church.
The church members presented the jet, a 10-seater Bombadier/ Challenger 601 aircraft, during the celebration of Oritsejafor's birthday and his 40th year of being on the pulpit, which took place at the Word of God Bible Church in Warri, Delta State.
The pastor who presented the jet on behalf of church members and in the presence of President Goodluck Jonathan, who was at the occasion, said the church bought him the jet in appreciation of all he's done in the past 40 years.The jet is a Canadian-made Bombardier jet with US registration number N431CB, which was manufactured in 1994 and previously belonged to two different owners in the US. The private jet was last used in New Jersey by C R BARD IN of Murray Hill, New Jersey.
The jet was flown out of the US from Morristown, New Jersey in September 2012 to be retrofitted and serviced before delivery last week. Records accessed by SR on the Internet indicated that the jet’s owners in New Jersey listed it for sale in July 2012. The data also showed that the jet had once been upgraded to give it more engine power. The jet’s interior is furnished with gold accents in the toilet and bathroom area and it is said to cost about 4.9million dollars.
The aircraft which has a range of 3,900 nautical miles, is also said to have a full enclosed lavatory and a flight attendant for additional comfort.
